The Toto Drake CST743S#01 , or as I like to call it, The Silent Assassin, is a fine piece of craftsmanship and a throne worthy of the most discriminating king or queen. Toto has earned the reputation as the Cadillac of toilets. The Drake is one of their more reasonably priced models and allows the consumer to get a high quality lav without flushing their money away. For this model I believe there's both a 1.6 and 1.2 gallons per flush. The 1.6 gallons costs a bit more but helps induce a furious flush eliminating clogs , multi-flushes, plunger duty, and those awkward situations for house guests. In addition to its powerful flush the aptly nicknamed Silent Assassin has a quick, muted flush allowing you to stealthily take care of business and creep away undetected from any late night "mission". It replaced the toilet that came with the house when i bought it 10 years ago. The old toilet seemed as if it needed to be plunged with every flush of solid waste and at times even just with an abundance of TP. It was aweful.After doing a lot of researech and actually going to a plumbing supply house and asking plumbers there to buy parts for the various jobs they were doing i got an overwelming recomendation for the TOTO Drake. I installed the Drake myself. It comes with easy to understand instructions and took me about 1.5 hours to do which included taking breaks to stretch out my bad back. The TOTO Drake has a very strong flush and does so quietly, it is not silent but given the force of the flush what little noise it does make is more than tollerable.
