I found this replacement cartridge online for a good price, and it took only 5 minutes to replace. The new faucet now works as designed. Everything went smoothly and the faucet now shuts of cleanly.I would think anybody who is comfortable with general home repair should be able to handle the replacement, although it helped to go to the Delta web site and look at the exploded diagram of parts for our faucet. This part appears to be all plastic and I expect the replacement cartridge to wear out again in a few years. Sigh! |
